Once upon a time, two children were homeschooled—but their worlds could not have been more different. Pari was a missionary kid, her story stitched together by faraway countries and sweet returns to California. Zach, meanwhile, grew up in the same home, rooted in California soil, surrounded by the warm, steady love of a big family. One day, during a visit back to California, their paths crossed in a homeschool high school co-op group. What began as simple friendship began to bloom into something more—quietly, gently, like spring after a long winter. Then came the miles. Pari’s family returned to the mission field, and Zach remained home. From over 1,500 miles apart, their hearts learned to stretch and hold fast. But in God’s perfect timing, a hard season brought Pari’s family back to California to care for a sick loved one. And in that bittersweet moment, something beautiful unfolded—Zach and Pari could finally be together. To Pari, Zach was the long-awaited answer to her prayers for a lifelong best friend. To Zach, Pari was the blessing who widened his world. For five years, mostly long-distance, God faithfully carried their love. Even when college pulled them apart once again, their bond only grew stronger. And from the very beginning—just three months in—Zach knew: Pari was the one he wanted to marry. Now, at last, the dream of a girl who always believed in Prince Charming is coming true. And so, with hearts knit together by God’s faithfulness, Pari and Zach begin their forever story—living proof that some prayers are worth the wait, and that happily ever afters do come true. 💫
